Digitizing FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our embroidery digitizing services

Ordering & Quotes

How do I get a quote or place an order?

Send us an email to emb@topdigitizing.com or quote@topdigitizing.com with your logo attached in JPG, TIF, BMP, CDR, AI or PDF format (JPG preferred). Include information about your logo such as size, placement location, and fabric type.

We'll send a confirmation email within 10 minutes. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder.

Pro Tip: Send your request to both email addresses simultaneously to ensure delivery.

How long does the process take?

Our standard turnaround time is 24 hours. For rush orders, just let us know — we can often complete them in just a few hours at no extra charge.

Do you have any minimum order? What's your charge price?

We charge $1.88 per 1000 stitches. The minimum charge is $5 (2,660 stitches) and the maximum charge is $99 (up to 52,660 stitches).

Do you provide free trial order?

We don't offer free trial orders because we guarantee our quality. Send us a logo to digitize and only pay if you're completely satisfied with the results.

Technical Questions

What kind of software do you use?

We use industry-leading software including Tajima, Wilcom, Rainbow, Richpeace, and Melco for all our digitizing work.

Any other formats do you supply besides DST?

We can provide most embroidery formats at no extra cost: CND, PES, PEC, JEF, EMB, ART, EXP, HUS, POF, and many others. Just let us know which format you need.

Can you do 3D puff / patches / applique?

Yes! All of our digitizers are highly experienced in 3D puff embroidery, patches, and appliqué work. Just specify your requirements when placing your order.

Why does your sewout look good but ours don't?

Several factors: fabric material, needle type/condition, thread quality, operator skill, machine settings (especially speed), and machine age. We can customize the digitizing file to compensate — just send us a photo of your sewout results.

Payments & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

Company checks, Visa/Mastercard/American Express, PayPal (no extra cost), and bank wire transfers.

How to pay for it?

You can pay by credit card through our secure PayPal portal at www.PayPal.com (our account: invoice@topdigitizing.com). Alternatively, visit our Payment page and click "Pay Now". For credit card payments or checks, contact our accounting department at invoice@topdigitizing.com.

If we place orders with you, is it possible to get a term?

We send invoices once a month (for orders from the previous month). Since invoice preparation takes about a week, this effectively provides some payment flexibility. However, we don't offer formal payment terms — invoices are due upon receipt.

Design & Editing

What's the charge for editing?

Most edits to designs we originally digitized are free. We only charge ($1.88 per 1000 stitches) when adding new elements, changing requirements that need complete redigitizing, or adding lettering/backgrounds.

How do I get my logo?

We email you the completed DST file (or your preferred format), a high-resolution scan of the test sewout, and detailed thread count information.

I'm afraid that you would sell our design.

We maintain strict confidentiality and never sell or share customer designs. We also archive all designs securely so we can resend them if you lose your files.

What if I don't like my job?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not completely happy, let us know immediately and we'll correct it to your specifications at no additional charge.

Order Tracking

Why is my order named KXX69O1?

Our tracking system generates codes: KXX = your customer code, 6 = year digit, 9 = month, 01 = first order that month. Reference this code for any inquiries about your order.

Why do you send the completed order email twice?

We send duplicate emails from different accounts to ensure you receive our communications promptly. This prevents delays from email delivery issues.
